Alva is a larger sized female with strong bones and a gorgeous head type. She's a very happy, upbeat dog that never has a bad day. She's neutral around new people and other dogs. Alva is environmentally sound and can be taken anywhere without issue. She gets used to new places and things very quickly. Absolutely zero fear of loud sounds or new surfaces. Her obedience is upbeat and free, she offers natural handler engagement. Alva is enthusiastic in her work and she is one of my favorite dogs to train with! Her food drive is medium-high, and her prey drive is very high. Her favorite reward is the ball or tug. Alva also has some of the best hunt drive I've ever seen, she will search endlessly until she finds her object. She is a versatile dog that truly enjoys working in all three phases of IGP. 
In protection her grip is hard and strong, she is a fast striking female! She has strong possessive drive without being nasty towards the handler. Alva is a strong female that takes corrections well and has no handler aggression. She has high energy and excellent stamina for work, but she does have a great off-switch and can relax normally in the house. She has no neurotic or annoying habits and settles nicely in the crate and kennel. 
Alva received a first class breed survey rating and is recommended for breeding. I have high hopes that Alva will be my next foundation female! Alva comes from old Czech and West German working lines.
